This scholarship scheme is organized by MRS Oil Nigeria Plc., and targets children of employees or shareholders of the company. The initiative is part of MRS Oil’s drive to support its stakeholders and their children, and promote academic excellence.
Benefits
The scholarship scheme will cover the cost of tuition for senior secondary school students and persons who have gained admission into a recognized institution of higher learning. This will last for the duration of their studies at their school, university, polytechnic, or monotechnic.Eligibility
MRS Oil expects applicants to meet these criteria:Criteria For Secondary School Applicants
- Should be a Nigerian not older than 18 years
- Must have completed their Junior Secondary Certificate Examination (JSCE) and achieved at least five distinctions (As), including English and Mathematics, in one sitting
- JSCE results should be available at the time of their application
- Must be a child of an employee or shareholder of MRS Oil
- Should not be the beneficiary of any other scholarship

Criteria For Undergraduate Applicants
- Should be a Nigerian not older than 25 years
- Must have completed their Senior Secondary Certificate Examination (SSCE) or its equivalent (NECO, GCE) and achieved at least five distinctions (As), including English and Mathematics, in one sitting
- Must have been offered admission into a recognized and approved institution of higher learning (university, polytechnic, or monotechnic) in Nigeria
- Should be a child of an employee or shareholder of MRS Oil
- Should not be the beneficiary of any other scholarship

The Application Process
Persons who want to apply for the MRS Oil Scholarship Scheme can begin the process on the page linked here. After completing the relevant application forms, they may email those forms and other documents as attachments (not greater than 5MB) to monscholarship@mrsholdings.com.
