The LSETF and Ingryd Tech Talent Accelerator Scholarship Program

The Ingryd Scholarship Program is designed to support persons in the mid-level of tech with the skills and capabilities they need to excel, and get them formally employed by linking them with job openings afterwards. This initiative will equip participants with in-demand skills such as Linux, Java, Cybersecurity, and Data Science. Its organizers say they aim to train 4,000 persons in these areas annually.

Starting this October, Ingryd, in collaboration with the LSETF, will take in its first cohort of 1,000 persons, followed by three other cohorts over the next 12 months. Representatives of the program have explained that this phased approach will enable beneficiaries of the scholarship reap the rewards of a comprehensive learning experience.

Eligibility

The Ingryd Scholarship is open to persons who meet these criteria:

Should be aged between 22 and 40 years
Must have a STEM degree (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics)
Should have at least 2 years of prior experience in their chosen career
Must be able to devote 3-6 months to learning as part of the program
Be able to attend physical classes and have access to internet for virtual classes
