The Innovation Support Network (ISN), in collaboration with its technical partners, is organizing the ISN Annual Gathering Deal Room. This program exists to connect social enterprises making a positive impact in the communities they serve with investors who want to fund such ventures. Through this initiative, social impact SMEs will get the chance to showcase their innovative business models, secure investment deals, and launch strategic collaborations.

The ISN is particularly seeking entries from HealthTech, CleanTech, eCommerce, Agribusiness, FinTech, and allied sectors. However, attendance at the deal room will be strictly by invitation. Participants will be selected from the pool of applicants based on preset criteria and will receive invitations to take part soon after.

This program provides SMEs that have a social impact focus with the following benefits:

The chance to meet with and pitch to investors, and potentially close investment deals
An opportunity to get into strategic partnerships which could enable them to expand their reach
Increase their visibility within the local investor and partner community
The chance to demonstrate their innovative business model and spot aspects in need of further refinement

Eligibility

The ISN Annual Gathering Deal Room is open to organizations that meet these criteria:

Must be an SME with a social impact focus
Should be operating in one of these spaces: CleanTech, FinTech, HealthTech, eCommerce, Agribusiness, Circular Economy, Logistics, EdTech, Microfinance, and Renewable energy
Should be seeking at least $200,000 in funding
Must have a compelling, innovative, and sustainable business model
Business must have been in operation for at least 2 years and have a revenue-generating product or service in the market
