Ingressive for Good (I4G), in partnership with FCMB, is organizing the I4G Hackathon, a multi-day event for techies across Africa. This program is designed to showcase the best and brightest of tech talent on the continent, and observe them create solutions that address real life business problems.

Over the course of 50 hours, participants—developers, designers, engineers, students, and idea generators –will work to build proofs of concept and Minimum Viable Products (MVPs) that tackle a defined problem. This year’s edition of the hackathon will be held virtually.

Eligibility

• This program is open to technology enthusiasts, programmers, developers, system testers, UI/UX designers, technologists, and creatives from across Africa
• Participants should have good access to the internet, as the program will hold virtually
• They must have an FCMB account

The Registration Process

• Open an FCMB account (you may do this during and/or after the hackathon)
• Register for the hackathon online (via the link at the end of this article)
• Wait for an email from the organizers (it will contain a link to the competition’s dedicated telegram group, and other information)
• Join the telegram group, and build your team or join an existing one
• Stay in touch with the group so you don’t miss anything
