The IMF Is Offering Free Online Courses With Certificates

  The International Monetary Fund (IMF) is offering free online courses to individuals from countries all over the world. Its training programs are designed for people who want to strengthen their knowledge of local and global economic policy.

Since its establishment in 1944, the IMF has provided policy advice and technical assistance to its member countries. That group now includes 189 nations, including Nigeria. The IMF’s online learning program covers a diverse set of subjects in monetary and fiscal policy. Anyone who wants to deepen their understanding of these fields is invited to enrol on its courses. This program is financially supported by the government of Japan.

Eligibility

There are no age limits or educational requirements for this program. The courses are open to everyone. All that’s required is access to the internet and an initial registration on the platform on which the courses are offered (edX). Note: Access to course materials remains free for a limited period, and may end as early as September 30.
