The Ibrahim Leadership Fellowships: $100,000 Stipend Available

  The Ibrahim Leadership Fellowships are organized by the MO Ibrahim Foundation, in partnership with the AfDB, ECA, and ITC. It exists to identify and mentor emerging African leaders and set them up to be change agents in various working capacities.

Since 2011, the fellowship has been awarded to outstanding Africans, particularly young professionals, mid-career, and new executives with relevant work experience. It selects three fellows from a diverse pool of applicants and places them with the executive offices of the African Development Bank (AfDB) in Abidjan, the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (ECA) in Addis Ababa, and the International Trade Center (ITC) in Geneva. The program lasts for 12 months, within which Fellows gain technical and leadership skills and get mentored by the heads of their host organizations (mentioned above).
