The Google For Startups Black Founders Fund Africa Program 2022

Google for Startups introduces its black founders’ fund for African startups. Through this program, Google aims to support startups on the continent with the funding they need to scale. It is specifically targeted at black-owned, early-stage startups.

The 2022 edition of the Google for Africa Black Founders Fund Africa will provide up to $100,000 in equity-free funding. It will also help beneficiaries with $200,000 in Google Cloud Credits. And they will have access to products and technical support from Google.

Benefits

Startups that Google selects for this fund will benefit from it in the following ways:

  • They will get either $50,000 or $100,000. The funding they will receive will depend on their current needs, product development stage, and how much funding they have previously raised.
  • They could also receive an additional $200,000 in Google Cloud Credits and gain access to other Google products.
