Organizers of Climate Launchpad say that it’s the largest international green business ideas competition. This year’s edition will see startups from six continents slug it out at local and regional levels for a chance to secure the globe’s attention and high-powered growth opportunities.

Competition Themes

This edition of the Climate Launchpad competition will cover eight themes: Adaptation and Resilience, the Blue Economy, Circular Economies, Clean Energy, Food Systems, Sustainable Mobility, Urban Solutions, and the Next Big Thing. Practical examples of ideas that could be accepted by organizers include solutions that make the food chain more sustainable or a technology that makes renewable energy cheaper and more accessible.

This competition is open to entrants with an idea or solution that could combat climate change, promote sustainability in multiple industries, and yield wins in those areas for individuals, communities, and whole regions. Besides these, entrants are expected to meet the following criteria:
