About the Young Men Conference
The Young Men Conference was conceived in response to the unique challenges and expectations faced by young men in Africa, particularly in areas such as life, career, and business. Often, young men are thrust into demanding roles without adequate preparation or choice, left to navigate these challenges on their own. This conference aims to bridge that gap by providing young men with the tools, knowledge, and networks needed to overcome these challenges and thrive. Organized by the Double-Edged Impact Network, a youth-led, not-for-profit organization committed to advancing humanity, the Young Men Conference is more than just an event. It is a mission-driven initiative that fosters a safe, inclusive, and empowering environment. Every year, in celebration of International Men’s Day, young men from diverse backgrounds come together to explore shared experiences, learn from one another, and grow as a united community.Theme: Men Dey!
Building on the successes of previous themes such as “Positive Masculinity” and “The Complete Man,” this year’s theme, “Men Dey!” is a vibrant, colloquial expression that translates to “Men are here!” It signifies the resilience, presence, and importance of young men in society. This theme is designed to capture attention, resonate with the audience, and emphasize the idea that young men are visible, valuable, and ready to take on their roles and responsibilities.Key Objectives
