At the core of every tech startup that has graced the front pages of every media outfit in the country, is a woman.
Since the preliminary days of tech advancements across the world, the tech industry was always thought of as a man’s thing, mostly dominated by men who code.
Today, however, that is no longer the case. More women have found home in the tech space, both women who code and those who do not have technical skills.
Presumably, whenever the phrase ‘women in tech’ is used, it generally refers to both groups in the tech industry.
Surprisingly, in the world of tech today, there are more women in tech who do not code, than there are who actually do. This is because contrary to popular opinion, there is a lot more to tech than writing code.
