Super Eagles Technical Adviser, Gernot Rohr, has released his final list of players for the upcoming 2019 Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt.
Many football enthusiasts have reacted to the list, expressing their desire for Nigeria to lift the trophy one more time; one of whom is the former Vice-President of Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), Victor Baribote.
The former NFF man believes that Rohr’s final 23-man list could be the squad that returns the AFCON glory back to Nigeria.
“As a Nigerian, I wish the players in the squad the best of luck to lift the Cup. The list is okay based on the coach’s assessment; so, what we are expecting now is good result, not excuses.”

According to reports, the Eagles alongside their technical team are already in Ismailia, Egypt, for one-week intensive pre-AFCON camping.
