Russia 2018: Unfazed Super Eagles Ready for Chipolopolo Clash

The Super Eagles of Nigeria have remained unfazed by the brags of the Zambian Chipolopolo Footbal team on Saturday’s game. The Stalwart players, who defeated the Zambians in Ndola during the earlier stages of the group matches, are aware of the new found strength of the Zambian side, but have kept their speech simple, refusing to make any boastful comments unlike their opposing side. The Zambians have been using the ‘boastful speech technique’ to try to deter the Eagles and put fear in their hearts concerning Saturday, but the team is assured of victory over the Chipolopolo and have chosen to keep the brag for the pitch; ‘all talk and no work would make a loser on Saturday in Uyo.’Skipper John Mikel Obi had this to say to the NFF media; “We know how important the match is, that’s enough motivation to go all out and give our very best. There are several players in this team who have not played at the FIFA World Cup. They want to be there in Russia next year…”“The talking will be done on the pitch. I have no doubt we have the quality to achieve victory, but we will not make the mistake of underrating the Zambians.”All the players request of Nigerians is that fans turn out in mass to support the team and watch them prove themselves on the pitch. The Eagles have been training effectively for the match which is scheduled for 5pm on Saturday at the Godswill Akpbabio Stadium, Uyo.
