In line with the moment, #BeLikeNgoziChallenge has been trended on social media. It is a testament to how inspiring Okonjo-Iweala’s achievement is to the girl child all over the world. According to Okonjo-Iweala,
‘…I hope it is a sign not only to women and girls in my country but to women and girls worldwide that the world is ready and women can do it.’

In a very comical twist, the men were not left out as young men have jumped on this trend to congratulate the former Nigerian finance minister and to also show their support for the girl child. https://twitter.com/honilatte/status/1361644174831980551?s=20 https://twitter.com/honilatte/status/1361640266659225602?s=20 For as long as many of us have known Dr Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, she has always brought international recognition to the ankara attire and also a worthy ambassador to Nigeria in particular and Africa at large. As much as #BeLikeNgoziChallenge is the right kind of social media trend to jump on, Ngozi Okonjo is an example of the right kind of role model to emulate. Be Like Ngozi!
