Anthony Joshua Honored by the Queen of England

For his service to boxing, Anthony Joshua, was honored with Officer Of The Most Excellent Order Of The British Empire (OBE) on Saturday at the Queen’s Birthday Honors. Joshua currently holds the WBA, IBF and WBO titles and, if agreements with him and Deontay Wilder’s side goes without a hitch, he stands a chance of also claiming the WBC title.

The En Avant de Guingamp forward led the onslaught against the visitors that booked Nigeria her ticket to the 2018 AWCON finals which will also serve as qualifiers for the 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup in France.

Super Eagles Begin Training Ahead of Croatia Meeting

The Super Eagles have begun training ahead of their first World Cup game against Croatia. They settled in Sanatorium Istochnik Hotel, Essentuki team base camp and had their first training (open session) on Tuesday from 5pm Russian time. The people of Essentuki came out to watch the Super Eagles train.
