Coca-Cola has put together a new ad for a cool way to “take the social out of media” in its latest bit of content marketing called the social media guard. The world passes by while we, attached to our smartphones, hardly notice.
Coca-Cola presents a solution, a social media guard that enables people to understand the importance of social relationships in their immediate real life environment. The social media guard is guaranteed to prevent you from looking at your phone because it wraps around your neck like a dog’s collar.
Quite a striking point made by the Coke brand saying that it would prefer people to hold their drinks rather than a media device. But what do you think of the social media guard as a dog collar?
