Following the success of her last movie, actress and movie producer Toyin Abraham’s new movie Seven and a Half Dates, is set to be released in cinemas from the 3rd of August, 2018.
As reported by Premium Times, Toyin said, “After the success of my latest movie, The Ghost and the Tout, I couldn’t wait to show the world the project I have been working on. This movie is one of the best productions I’ve worked on and I’m super excited about Seven and a Half Dates, and I cannot wait for the world to see this one. It’s fresh, it’s exciting and it’s one to watch out for.”
The romantic comedy which stars herself, Mercy Johnson, Frank Donga, Jim Iyke, Sola Sobowale, Ken Erics, Ali Nuhu, and Bayray McNwizu, follows the life of Bisola, played by Mercy Johnson, a young hard working lady who is passionate about her job and is in a seemingly perpetual search for love. Her father, determined to help his girl find love and inspired by the game of chess, sets Bisola up to 10 different dates with the hope that one of them yields a good prospect.
The executive producer, Samuel Olatunji expressed his elation about the new movie this way “I’m really enthusiastic about this movie, it’s been a long time coming and I’m glad we are finally putting this out there. This is a movie that will wow Nigerians and leave them wanting and yearning for more so I’m really excited. The cast and crew, producer, director and everyone who worked on this movie brought in 100 per cent talent and professionalism, so expect nothing but the best. I’m super optimistic and I’m sure it will do great.”
Seven and a Half Dates is produced by Toyin Abraham. It is written by Joy Isi Bewaji, directed by Biodun Stephens, and is a production of Samuel Olatunji’s Bigsam Media.
