Senator John Shagaya Presents Golf Hall of Fame Award to U.S. Kids Golf President

Senator John Nanzip Shagaya (2007-2009) who is leading a delegation of Nigerian young golfers to the U.S. Kids Golf Foundation European Championships which takes place in Gullane, Scotland from June 5 – 8, 2012 has presented a Kids Golf International Golf Hall of Fame Award to the President and Founder of the U.S. Kids Golf Foundation, Mr Van Dan Horn for his visionary and life time contribution to the development of golf for children, worldwide. The occasion took place at the opening ceremony of the European Championships. In his response, Mr Horn expressed appreciation for being inducted in the KGI Golf Hall of Fame, and identified with the vision of the Kids Golf International in promoting golf development among young children in Nigeria and West Africa. He added that he would do all he can to support Kids Golf International as an organisation. The U.S.Kids Golf Foundation as an organisation was equally presented with an award by Senator Shagaya also for their vision for kids golf developement. Senator Shagaya expressed gratitude and prayed for long life and more properity for Mr Horn and the U.S. Kids Foundation. He however expressed his deep sadness at the recent plane crash in Nigeria and sent home his condolences to all families and friends of loved ones who died in the crash. Mr Horn expressed his condolence as well and prayed that God strengthens all berieved families.
