See Trailer For Desmond Elliot’s ‘That Which Binds Us’

Actor-turned Director and lawmaker, Desmond Elliot, has released visuals for his upcoming movie, That Which Binds Us. The film, produced by Dayo Amusa and directed by Desmond Elliot, and stars Uche Jombo, Mercy Aigbe, Chinyere Wilfred, Toyin Alausa and Dayo Amusa. The movie follows the life of Toke Nwachukwu (played by Uche Jumbo), who has recently become widowed and deals with her in-law’s invasion of her home immediately after her husband’s death. She also has to deal with her friends – Kike Shomorin (Mercy Aigbe) and Yewande Shomorin (Dayo Amusa) – who are always at each other’s neck. The major themes explored in ‘That Which Binds Us‘ are friendship, betrayal, love, and sacrifice. Elliot is a well-known Nollywood actor with over a hundred films to his credit. He declared his intentions to run for office in 2014, and has since been in the Lagos State House of Assembly. That Which Binds Us is set to premiere in cinemas on the 5th of October.
