Salisu calls Ashadi, Nwakali and 21 others for Atletico friendly

Tuesday will be ‘super lit’ as the newly crowned Europa League Champions, Atletico Madrid will slug it out with the Super Eagles team-B for the GOtv Max Cup. The friendly will  feature top La Liga players from the Spanish team and has been scheduled for the the Goodwill Akpabio Stadium, Uyo. Super Eagles’ B head coach, Salisu Yusuf, has invited 23 players for the match, amongst whom are Katsina United defender Destiny Ashadi, NPFL champions, Plateau United striker Tosin Omoyele and the Nwakali brothers, Kelechi and Chiebere Nwakali – who are currently on the books for MVV Maastricht, Netherlands and Aberdeen FC, Scotland respectively. Alongside the Nwakali brothers, other foreign-based players like Alhassan Ibrahim and Musa Muhammed were also called to the pitch.
