Group of death or did the Super Eagles just get a chance to prove to the world how good they are? Nigeria has been drawn with Argentina, Croatia and Iceland in Group D of the 2018 FIFA World Cup tournament draw, which took place at the Kremlin Palace in Moscow on Friday.
The Super Eagles will face Argentina for the fifth time, with 1998 bronze medal winners, Croatia and debutantes Iceland, in the toughest group of the 2018 FIFA World Cup finals.
The Super Eagles have never faced Croatia and Iceland in any of their five appearances. They have faced Argentina four times, and lost every game.
Nigeria will play her opening game against Croatia at the Kaliningrad Stadium on the 16th of June.
