The Feminists Coalition is one of the many organisations in the country proving that Nigeria is indeed a great nation through its commendable support for the ongoing #EndSARS movement. The Feminist Coalition is a Nigerian feminist set established to uphold social justice through protests, fundraising, and social media awareness. In just a few days, the NGO has contributed immensely to the #EndSARS protests holding at several key locations in the country. Despite an alleged deactivation of the group’s bank account dedicated to funding the #EndSARS protests, the group has pushed on and has been successful in raising over N30 million in crowdfunding as of October 14, 2020.   According to the group, the donations made will be used on first aid, masks, bail, hospital bills, food, water, glucose for protesters, and also for the provision of legal aid to protestors, who have been arrested on the frontline. The donations have also been made to support different states in the country in which the #EndSARS protests are holding.

In addition to the series of donations the group has raised, it has also been extremely vocal on social media about the #EndSARS movement. From giving shoutouts to protesters on the streets to raising awareness about protest venues in and outside the country, the Feminist Coalition has done a tremendous job in popularising the #EndSARS movement.   The support of #EndSARS by the Feminist Coalition is laudable and a reminder that all group or individual should lend their voice in the fight against injustice, as long as they are Nigerian.
