House on the Rock – Teens Church is raising a minimum of Two (2) Million Naira through a novelty match, the proceeds of which will be donated to the families of Dr Stella Ameyo Adadevoh, Nurse Justina Ejelonu and Mrs. Ukoh, the ward maid who attended to the index case, Mr. Patrick Sawyer. These health workers sacrificed their lives in the process of containing the deadly EBOLA virus, which threatened our country recently.
The event comes up this Saturday 8th November 2014 at the Campos Square Mini Stadium, Lagos Island by 12 noon.
There will be 3 different matches featuring 66 players in total from 11 organisations. Each team will be composed of boys and girls from participating organisations.
All well-meaning Lagosians are invited to attend and join us to honor our fallen heroes and support their survivors.
