President Goodluck Jonathan will attend an extraordinary African Union summit in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia from October 11th – 12th. He will leave Nigeria today and return on tomorrow.
According to PANA Press, “The summit will consider the Progress Report on the Implementation of the Assembly’s Decision of May 2013 on International Jurisdiction, Justice and the International Criminal Court (ICC) and also appoint a new Commissioner for Peace and Security, after the former Commissioner, Ramtane Lamamra, was named Algeria’s Minister of Foreign Affairs.”
“President Jonathan will be accompanied to Addis Ababa by Senator Emmanuel Paulker, Minister of Justice and Attorney-General of the Federation Mohammed Adoke and the Minister of State (Foreign Affairs) Nurudeen Mohammed.”
