Pre-Confederations Cup Doping Test Results are out

 

On Saturday, Prof Jiri Dvorak, the FIFA Chief Medical Officer announced that all analyses of the samples of the players picked from the eight participating teams ahead of the start of the FIFA Confederations Cup Brazil 2013 have provided negative results. No contraband was found in the urine and blood samples collected. The analyses were conducted by the WADA-accredited LAD laboratory of Lausanne (Switzerland). This thorough examination of urine and blood samples of players participating at the tournament is FIFA’s latest tactic to eradicate doping from the sport.
