From the balcony of my thoughts
Tear drops, wondering asking
Where is God when it hurts?
Slowly my inside all turn to ash
As I hang on the edge
Waiting for the wind to whisper to me
Dark clouds gather to pray, like the heaven has lost an angel
The wind blows, sounding so dissatisfied
I heard the cries, I saw the tears
I quiver, gnashing, mind cold and terrified
Saying wake me up, it’s only a dream
Wish time will wash my memory clean
The inexplicability of life is beyond the writings on the wall
Or the scriptures on a clergy’s lips
That little child begs for a dime
Life has it all
Is like some are born into greatness
But nobody was born to fall.
