Poem of the Week: Stolen Waters

By Nehi Igbinijesu

Sneak sneak Stolen waters are sweet Nosy nether need know How once avid we did tweet Peek peek Just a little see One look too lustful Like Bathseba’s- then we Quick quick Snatched a little of what not Feasting on the worthless Like Esau on Becca’s broth Squeak, squeak Chattering go tongueful eyes With tabloid leaks Then scandalous headlines A sneak And a peek quick Left squeaks Of a wedlock leak Ask Bill, David and Mark Stolen waters make glad Saltry surrogates for prozac Damsels for women left sad This Poem is part of the anthology of 30 Poems titled: “Dirges of The Niger” By Nehi Igbinijesu.
