Poem Of The Week: Sleepy Hollow

Years pass, but her smell still lingers Her thoughts won’t leave me alone Echoes fill my wooden heart Potraits fading Illusion of her presence My fortress, smouldering A rose in a Concrete wall Broken Soul, petals wilting Afar in my dreams, her face I see Sweat and tears, wakes me up Lost in Oblivion No embrace, no fist to clench, no hands to hold Candles, burn in the Rain Sketches of pain, emotions grow cold Another lonely day; another memory off my wall On Wounded Knee, like lost wolf I howl Painting my tomorrow Missing her and am SLEEPY HOLLOW
