According to a Guardian news report, President Muhammadu Buhari has officially replaced the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, Mr Danladi Kifasi with Mrs Winifred Ekanem Oyo-Ita. This comes months before Kifasi’s due retirement date in January 2016.
Oyo-Ita currently serves as the Permanent Secretary of the Federal Ministry of Science and Technology. Prior to this role, she was Permanent Secretary in the Federal Ministry of Special Duties and Intergovernmental Affairs.
In addition, she has functioned as Director, Finance and Accounts at the Head of Civil Service of the Federation and is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN).
