Connect Nigeria was at the Africa Women Innovation and Entrepreneurship Forum (AWIEF 2015) on the 8th and 9th of August, 2015. It was the first of its kind which brought together an exclusive group of thought leaders, women entrepreneurs, investors, MSMEs, international development organisations, NGOs, CSOs, trade missions, foundations, government officials, private sector and the media.
The pan-African conference and exhibition event themed “Investing in Women Entrepreneurs: Unleashing Africa’s Economic Growth” allowed deliberations around the role African women play in shaping the continent’s economic future. It discussed the challenges women face when playing their role and the solutions.
