The First Lady, Patience Jonathan has congratulated Hajia Aisha Buhari, wife of the President-elect, on her husband’s victory during last Saturday’s presidential election, saying Nigerian women should support her in her new assignment.
In a statement issued by her media assistant, Mr. Ayo Adewuyi, Mrs. Jonathan appealed to Nigerian women to support Hajia Buhari and wished her well in the new task ahead of her.
Her husband, President Goodluck Jonathan also sent
his congratulatory message to Muhammadu Buhari and reiterated his promise to keeping the rule of law and ensuring democracy is sustained.
