The FIFA World Cup trophy will arrive Nigeria next month as part of its fourth tour organised by Coca-Cola.
For many, this may be a once in a life time opportunity to see the original World Cup trophy that will be handed to the wining team at the end of the World Cup Tournament in Russia late this year.
Nigeria will be the seventh African country on the 2018 FIFA World Cup Trophy Tour itinerary, after Uganda.
The tour has already begun and you can follow the progress and conversation with the hashtag #ReadyFor.
One of a kind
With fans everywhere already geared up for the tournament in June, this tour will serve as a means to give them a live-feel of the fun as well as the tension that will rock the stadiums in Russia as each country goes head on for the 14.5 inches tall trophy, weighing 13.6 pounds and of over 18-karat pure gold.
The Trophy Tour event will definitely be one fans will remember for a long time, as Coca-Cola plans to make the date an entirely fun packed one. Fans will be thrilled to fun games and music from their favorite celebrities.
Managing Director of Coca-Cola Nigeria, Bhupendra Suri, said through the FIFA World Cup Trophy Tour, Coca-Cola intends to inspire thousands of World Cup fans in Nigeria.
