Keep Resting, Olubayo Adefemi
Seven years ago, Nigeria lost a great player. Adefemi died in a car accident while driving on the Egnatia Odos, near the city of Kavala, Greece, while on his way to Nigeria to finalize the details of his wedding. Adefemi was not just any remarkable player, but one of Nigeria’s finest at the time. The defender was a part of the Nigeria team that won the Silver media at the 2008 Olympic Games. Adefemi also represented Nigeria at the 2005 FIFA World Youth Championships in the Netherlands, when the Nigerian team came second behind a Lionel Messi led Argentine side. He also won won the Isreali F.A cup wt Hapoel Tel Aviv in 2006. Keep resting, Olubayo AdefemiOn this day in 2005 we lost @NGSuperEagles and Olympic Silver Medalist Olubayo Adefemi. Welcome Back, Henry Onyekuru
Super Eagles and Everton forward, Henry Onyekuru picked up a knee injury in December while on loan with Anderlecht. However, after series of treatments and physical therapy, the player has been cleared and there is a very gleam chance that we will see the player feature for Nigeria in the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia come June.I want to say thank you to everyone that made my recovery possible. Nigerian Coach In The Premier League
Former Nigerian international Seyi Olofinjaja will be coaching the U-23’s team of Newly promoted Wolverhampton Wanderes F.C. The 37-year year old started off his career with local side, Crown and Kwara United before moving to Europe with Norwegian side SK Brann. After his retirement from playing football, he began working at Wolverhampton Wanderers Academy, where he now coaches the U-23 Wolves.So we’d be having a Nigerian coach a Premier League side next season, technically.
