Nigerian International, Obafemi Martins has been named in Major League Soccer (MLS) All-Star Fan XI team that will play Bayern Munich in an exhibition game on August 8 in Portland.
Martins joined MLS side, Seattle Sounders last season after leaving Spanish side, Levante and will be making his All-Star debut. He was awarded a place in the team via a video-game contest in which fans –playing as Martins – scored more goals than any other player in EA Sports’ “FIFA 14”.
He will be joined by Sounders team mates, Clint Dempsey and DeAndre Yedlin, as well as Thierry Henry and Landon Donovan
