An impressive display saw the Nigerian become the only Porto player to make the list for the Team of the week. The Nigerian who was in action for the Super Eagles when they were held by Sierra Leone to a 4-4 draw on November 13, 2020, at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium, Benin City, has featured in all of the Dragons’ four games in the Champions League this season, all thanks to hard work and no injuries. Reacting to the goal after the game, Sanusi congratulated his team for the victory and noted that the goal is very important for his football career which has seen a steady rise since his move to Porto.
