World heavyweight boxing division has continued to become more interesting with new set of boxers emerging behind the likes of Anthony Joshua, Dereck Chisora, and more. A new name has emerged in the boxing world and it is Nigeria’s David Adeleye. The new comer made his professional debut against Dmitrij Kalinovskij, and won in the first round. It took 23-year-old David Adeleye, 2.25 minutes to stop Kalinovskij in front of a large crowd that could not help but give the Nigerian a standing ovation.

Adeleye who had to combine amateur boxing with studies at University of Wolverhampton, graduated in 2019 with a degree in Business Management, and his dissertation was focused on the boxing business. The Nigerian has joined the promotional team of British promoter, Frank Warren, who has the likes of Tyson Fury, Joe Joyce, Daniel Dubois in his books.

Willing to take things step by step in his career, and eager to join the rivalry in the heavyweight division, Adeleye has already sparred with the likes of Hughie Fury and Dereck Chisora. Standing at 6 foot and 4 inches, the West African boxer is part of young boxers coming up the ranks in world heavyweight boxing.
