I very much look forward to welcoming him to Leeds Trinity University.”Jamie Hanley Professor Charles Egbu boasts over 25 years of experience in higher education and previously held the position of Pro-Vice-Chancellor for Education and Experience at the University of East London. A member of numerous external bodies including Advance HE Pro-Vice-Chancellor Network and QAA Panel of Experts, Professor Egbu also occupied the positions of Dean of the School of Built Environment and Architecture at London South Bank University, and Head of the School of Built Environment at the University of Salford. Some of the universities he also held academic posts include Leeds Beckett University (formerly Leeds Metropolitan), University College London, and Glasgow Caledonian University. With research interests focus on project management, construction management and sustainable development, Professor Egbu has written 12 books and equally contributed to over 350 publications in numerous international journals and conferences. Aside from his research interests, the Nigerian boasts strong links in the industrial sector, policymakers, and professional bodies, which have seen him, manage large multi-disciplinary research projects.
