Nigerian and South African accountants, through the Association of National Accountants of Nigeria (ANAN) and the South African Institute of Professional Accountants (SAIPA), have signed an agreement on professional partnership. This, for accounting professionals of the two biggest economies in the Africa, presents new opportunities for collaboration and intellectual exchanges.
Speaking on the partnership, the CEO of SAIPA, Shahied Daniels, said, “Nigeria’s business environment is in strong growth mode‚ and so offers the professional accountants a new market in which to operate. We look forward to working closely with our Nigerian colleagues to build a reliable standards framework that will support bilateral trade and business.
