  1.The French Agency for Development (AFD), a public development finance institution, has said it recently approved €400 million as grant to finance transport and energy projects in Nigeria. This was stated by the Country Director, AFD, Mr. Hubert Dognin at the European Union (EU)- Nigeria business forum held in Lagos. 2.It has been reported that the Cross River State government yesterday awarded a N2.4 billion contract for the construction and expansion of the Okpoma, Yala water scheme.
