NFF have given the sack letter to Super Eagles coaches, Sylvanus Okpala and Valere Hounandinouo as part of their plans to cut down expenses.
NFF spokesman, Emeka Inyama said the Federation lacked funds to pay these coaches and have had to cut the bonus of the players. Inyama also mentioned that seven members of the coaching staff will also be let go.
The Nigeria Football Federation is also livid with Super Eagles Head Coach Stephen Keshi who’s travelled out of the country for holidays without clearance from the Federation.
Inyama said; “Keshi has shown disrespect to the executive and secretariat of the NFF by his refusal to appear before the technical committee and he must explain why he travelled without clearance.
“He was expected to present his AFCON technical report as well as his programme for the Confederation Cup in Brazil in the world cup qualifiers but he went on AWOL and this will not be condoned.’Inyama stated.
