Cadbury has been a fixed supporter of Nigerian football and the gesture is to reaffirm their support to the teams.
Speaking at the meeting, held at the Cadbury headquarters, Agidingbi, Lagos, the Director of Corporate and Government Affairs, West Africa

The agreement was to strengthen the long standing relationship the company has with the NFF and to further prove it’s support for Nigeria’s national football teams.
Proud of the achievements he and his board has made so far, the NFF President,
Amaju Pinnick, thanked Cadbury for their unwavering hands in support for Nigerian football. Pinnick further stated that since he and his board took charge of the NFF, there has been no cause for distrust from Nigerians as they have remained totally transparent and accountable in dealings.
“In all modesty, because of the new direction we have given to Nigeria Football, we have entered into various partnership deals that are worth over fifty million US Dollars (₦18b billion) in the past one year. We are happy Cadbury has joined the train and we thank those companies that have faith in us.”
