Awakening Your New Year Goals

goals
The year has started and it’s amazing how we all have rolled up our sleeves in preparation for the year. Like it is traditionally accepted, many have drawn out resolutions they hope to stick to, prophecies to align beliefs, and predictions they hope to work on. However, I wonder why resolutions are made every year like a switch of the button only to turn off and on when we dictate? Or why we decide to start doing things differently once a year and fix what’s wrong or do things right? Are we not mandated to be aware of things we do and try to do things differently and make corrections daily? While making resolutions yearly or heading to religious organizations to decree and reject what we plan on not doing, makes absolute sense,  however, it is necessary to plan each day as it unfolds. Rather than making resolutions, draw up goals and make plans to stick with your goals. Therefore, you do not need January 1st to regulate your life or any New Year’s resolutions; you need a self-intervention. Think positively of yourself. Have a positive sense of your personal worth. Be secure, both in your relationship and about yourselves, feel confident in your partner’s affection for you. Give financial aid to others, or offering advice to a friend can help boost your morale. A word of encouragement from a mentor, or a conversation with a stranger may change your self-evaluation.
