New Nigerian Series: Blessing Egbe Presents “Lekki Wives”!

Lekki wives, a TV series produced and directed by Blessing Effiom Egbe – the lady that produced the blockbuster movie, Two Brides and a Baby, is the newest show to hit the screens.
It highlights the life and lark of 5 women who live in the highbrow Lekki axis of Lagos – reflecting the activities and secrets of many wealthy women who reside there.
Lekki Wives aims to show, teach and entertain. Kiki Omeili (Lovette), Adaora Ukoh (Miranda), Katherine Edoho(Uju), Keira Hewatch(Peace), Chinomnso Young(Cleo), Anthony Monjaro (Victor), and Okey (Sly) star in the show.
Kiki Omeili (Lovette)
Kiki bagged a degree in Medicine from the University of Lagos and decided to follow her passion for acting and TV presenting. She hosted the dance reality show Dance-234 which aired on Africa Magic world. She also played a lead role in the much publicized movie “Married but Living Single“. She has also had roles in Behind the Smile, The Valley Between, Gidi Culture, A Mother’s Fight, Nesrea Watch, and Footprints. She presents a health show on smooth 98.1FM.
Adaora Ukoh (Miranda)
Adaora studied Law at the University of Lagos and is a seasoned actress with a number of roles in movies. Corporate runs, Koko Babes, World of Commotion, Palace war, King after Kings, Royal Rites, and a short drama, Epitaph, which she produced, are some of works she featured in. Adaora has a clothing line,”Adaora couture”.
Katherine Obiang (Uju)
Uju studied accounting but veered into radio, stage plays and, acting. Her first movie is Journey to Self, it will be released later this year. Her recent work, For the Love of Country, is a stage play about Nigeria’s history, it was directed by veteran stage actor, Sola Roberts. She is an On-Air Personality with Nigeria Info 99.3FM.
Keira Hewatch (Peace)
Keira has been acting since 2008 with roles in Cross Roads, Everyday People, Just the Two of Us, Tinsel, Disclosure, Kajola, Moninkim, Working Girls, Two brides and a baby, The Perfect Plan, and Job seekers. Keira received the Best of Nollywood award for best breakout female for her role in “Two brides and a baby”
Chinonso Young (Cleo)
Born 8th, December, 1987; she has featured in a stage play by Solomon Macaulay “A Voice for Ella“. She also featured on Tinsel – season II, and My Mum & I.
