MTN Foundation Scholarship Scheme 2021: Applications Ongoing

  MTN Foundation has announced that it is receiving applications for its 2021 Scholarship Scheme. The program is targeted at high-performing students in Nigeria’s tertiary institutions and will grant qualified students scholarships that cover the cost of their education up until graduation if they maintain the required grades.

There are three aspects to this program, namely:

The MTN Science And Technology Scholarship

This has been on for twelve years. It is open to 300 level students in Nigeria’s public universities, polytechnics, and colleges of education. About 300 students will be awarded scholarships worth ₦200,000 annually till graduation, subject to their maintaining the grades required of them.

MTN Scholarships For Blind Students

This program provides scholarships to 200 level blind students studying any course at a Nigerian public university, polytechnic, or college of education. About 60 blind students will be given scholarships worth ₦200,000 per annum, subject to their maintaining the grades required of them.

Top 10 UTME Scholarship

Each year, MTN Foundation grants scholarships to the top ten scoring candidates at the UTME. These scholarships last from 100-level to final year, subject to the students maintaining the academic performance required of them by the terms of the scholarship. The deadline for applications to the MTN Science and Technology Scholarship and the MTN Scholarship for Blind Students is Sunday, August 15, 2021.
