MS Paint Is Here to Stay - www.connectnigeria.com
After fans on social media decried the potential death of MS Paint (Microsoft Paint), Microsoft has released a blog post to clarify that they would not be completely removing the app. It would be made available only via Windows store for free. This is as a result of the list released by Microsoft, U.S technology company labelling paint as “deprecated” and were considering ditching the app when the Windows 10 Fall Creators Update get released later this year. Microsoft Paint is indeed here to stay after an Internet Revolt by angry fans. The internet was in mourning when the news broke out.  The outpouring of support and nostalgia around MS Paint led to its survival. The original MS Paint was launched in November 1985 with the original versions of windows. it was originally a licensed version of PC Paintbrush.  Now, there is a spin off of the original app with the installation of Paint 3D  that focuses more on 3D modelling.  This allows users to create three-dimensional images. it is currently part of Windows 10. Children of 80’s and 90’s all over the world rejoice, as even though the app won’t be updated it would still be available for usage.
