Being Annabel
“Being Annabel” stars Alex Ekubo, Desmond Elliot, Ken Erics, and Yvonne Jegede.
It follows the story of a broke woman, who plays into the manipulations of her dodgy boyfriend to impersonate her twin sister in order to inherit fortune. She gets tied up in her sister’s complicated love life and all its many demons in the process but it should all pay off at the end, right?
The Big Fat Lie
The Darasen Richards directed comedy film is about a waiter who has an accidental encounter with his longtime celebrity crush – Eni. She falls in love with him, thinking he is a navy captain, and he continues to act the part until the bubble bursts.
“The Big Fat Lie” has Blossom Chukwujekwu playing James, the waiter. It also stars Eniola Badmus, Mercy Aigbe, Rita Dominic, Scarlet Shotade, Tana Adelana, and Ushbebe.
Mr. President (The Controversial Election)
“Mr. President” stars popular comedians AY, Broda Shaggi and Lizzy Jay (omo Ibadan). It is, therefore, safe to say that it will leave you reeling with laughter.
The president’s announcement of his intention to run for a second term throws up several issues threatening his ambition. He is pitched against a formidable opponent and has to work extra hard to win. The process to winning the election is full of twists and turns, but how it all ends is dependent on how he reacts to his cabinet’s advice.
Void
“Void” stars Fredrick Leonard, Chioma Akpotha, Lotachukwu.
In the romantic drama, Tonna’s love for two women – Mirabel and Tina – leaves his distraught. How does he fill the void in his heart without losing either one?
“Void” is directed by Eneaji Chris Eneng.
No Budget
Lola is from a very wealthy family, and she has always fantasized about having a talk of the town, celebrity wedding, but her fiancé does not buy the idea. He would rather have a simple wedding. The movie is all about the issues and intrigues that develop from their divergent ideas of how their ideal wedding should be.
“No Budget” boasts of a star-studded cast, including AntoLecky, Ayo Mogaji, Bade Smart, Bam Bam, Bolanle Ninalow Akin Lewis, Bryan Okwara, Charles Inojie, Hassan Samaki, Samuella Elumelu, Teddy A, and Wole Oni.
