For the third consecutive year, CHINI Productions will be offering Nigerian creatives the opportunity to study on scholarship at any Miami Ad School campus of their choice in the world.
The scholarship is for a two-year study in Art Direction, Copywriting, Digital Design and Digital Photography and Video.
Registration is online, participation fee is N5,000 and closing date to enter is March 8. The top ten finalists will be decided in Lagos and will immediately qualify for half-tuition scholarship, while the top three finalists will be decided in Frankfurt at the Miami Ad School Europe and the overall winner, entitled to a full-tuition scholarship, will be decided in Miami, Florida by the President of the Miami Ad School.
In addition, all ten finalists will be recognized at the Lagos Cannes Lions 60th Anniversary Dinner and Awards in Sheraton Lagos Hotel on Saturday, March 30, 2013 along with the winners of the Roger Hatchuel Academy, Young Lions Film Competition, Young Lions Media Competition, Young Lions Design Competition, Young Lions Cyber Competition and Young Lions Marketers Competition.
The Miami Ad School is the most awarded advertising school in the world and according to Gunn’s Report, “the best advertising school in the world”. The first Miami Ad School Scholarship Competition was won by Akorede Zakariya in 2011, while Olaniyi Awosanma emerged the winner of the full-tuition scholarship in 2012 and is currently studying in the San Francisco campus of the Miami Ad School.
There is no age limit or special academic qualifications required for participation in the competition. However, it is important to note that it is a creative competition for those who intend to work (or are currently working) as creatives in the marketing communications industry.
