The Made In Nigeria Conference & Exhibition 2016

The Made in Nigeria Project, organisers of the Made In Nigeria Conference & Exhibition, has officially announced the third edition of its annual Conference which holds at the Landmark Events on the 27th of July 2016. The one-day social investment initiative aims to empower young entrepreneurs, SMEs, start-ups and homegrown businesses with the focus on the growth of large, medium and small enterprises, which are pivotal to our national aspiration towards self-sufficiency and overcoming the challenges of job creation.

 

Speaking on the third edition, Convener and Executive Director of The Made in Nigeria Project, Adedeji Alebiosu says “We hope to capture the essence of the role MSMEs play towards economic growth and advancement with a focus on the growing opportunities, growth trajectory in the informal sector. Our focus on the growth of micro-small and medium scale enterprises hinges on our position on the role SMEs ply in economic growth and transformation, which are cardinal frontiers on our national goal towards self-sufficiency. More so, we aim to celebrate and promote the existing innovative solutions that have been deployed in Nigeria through enterprise and entrepreneurial machinations as synonymous with the National identity.”

  

The Made In Nigeria Conference and Exhibition aims to facilitate a practical exchange of ideas as speakers and panelists shall be discussing Nigeria as she stands, the strength of her human capital, the prospect of her potentials, the potency of her resources and the opportunities that abound with issues and solutions based discussions, presentations and networking opportunities and a Made In Nigeria Exhibition hub.

 

The theme for this year’s edition is tagged “POSSIBILITIES MADE IN NIGERIA’’ – A Redirection Towards Sustainable Economic Growth and SME Development” as we shall be discussing Nigeria’s MSME Policy thrust, Government’s role towards its advancement, with issues-based discussions from a keynote speaker, guest speakers and panelists with different pragmatic discussions bordering on the economy, enterprise, trade, access to finance, policy as it concerns SME growth, job creation and employment.
