The International Association of Lions Clubs, district 404, A1 Nigeria, with NTA Lagos Channel 10, presents free diabetes screening for women at NTA Lagos Chanel 10, Tejuosho. This is, in accordance, with the celebration of 2017 World Diabetes Day to be held on Tuesday, 14
th November 2017.
Diabetes is a growing global epidemic that affects one out of every ten women. It is quite shocking to note, however, that many women who are now living with diabetes are not of their health status.
The International Association of Lions Clubs has partnered successfully with World Health Organization and the International Diabetes Foundation to unite people with diabetes, health professionals, diabetes advocates, the public, media and governments and to help raise awareness in improving the lives of people with diabetes and those who are at risk.
The International Association of Lions Clubs has enjoined every on to fight diabetes, as we can stop it if we work together. The event is holding on 14
th November 2017, at NTA Lagos Channel 10, Tejuosho, by 8:00 am- 10:00 am. This free diabetes screening was organised by the Diabetes Awareness and Action Committee of the International Association of Lions Clubs and it’s proudly sponsored by Pharmacy Plus Ltd and New Heights Pharma Ltd.
