LG Electronics (LG) has announced a new tablet device, G Pad 8.3. The device comes with Full HD display, unique user-experience and a wide range of connectivity features. “Complementing our G Series smartphones, the introduction of the LG G Pad 8.3 further strengthens LG’s premium lineup consisting of our most cutting-edge devices,” said Dr. Jong-seok Park, president and CEO of the LG Electronics Mobile Communications Company. “Our G Pad is just another example of LG delivering devices with the unique selling points consumers around the world will appreciate.”

The Pad has Pocket-Sized Portability and comes with LG features and apps. The device works with Qpair, an app that can be installed on other Android smartphones to enable users make every call and message received on their smartphones appear on the G Pad for a true convergence experience. Replies can be sent through the LG G Pad 8.3.
The tablet also features Slide Aside which enables seamless multitasking by simply “sliding” currently open apps off to the side using a three-finger swipe. Then Qslide, to control up to three different apps in one window with no interruption, especially convenient on a large screen, and KnockON, whichturns the device on and off by tapping the display twice.
