LEAP Africa Calls for Application for The 2014 Social Innovators Programme‏

    LEAP Africa has announced its call for applications for the 2014 Social Innovators Programme. This programme will support talented youth with ideas and initiatives and proffer effective solutions to challenges in local communities across Nigeria. LEAP Africa is a non-profit organization that was founded by Ndidi Nwuneli (MFR). Since its inception in May 2002, LEAP Africa has successfully launched programmes for entrepreneurs and youth in twenty-six cities including the FCT in collaboration with non-profit organizations and leading financial institutions. LEAP Africa offers a range of training programmes for youth, business owners, social entrepreneurs, managers and public officers with core programmes in business and youth leadership trainings. These programmes have enhanced the life and leadership skills of over 35, 000 Nigerians by equipping stakeholders with the skills, tools and support that they require to serve as change agents. LEAP Africa’s Programmes have received funding from Ford Foundation, Citi Foundation, Nokia, Microsoft, International Youth Foundation, the United States Government, UK Government and the World Bank. They have also been supported by many Nigerian organizations.
